He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Johnston and Florene Johnston; and his wife Billie Jean Johnston. He is survived by: his children, Randall Lamar Johnston (Lora) of Waynesboro, MS, Paula Lynn Bays (John) of Lafayette, LA and Christina Evans (Todd) of Laurel, MS; his brother Lafayette Johnston of Pennington, AL; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Taylor, Devon, Hannah, Camille, Mallory, Ty, Hunter and Manning. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Spring Bank Cemetery (7825 US-84, Silas, AL 36919).
