He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Smith of Waynesboro, MS; his children, Ralph Thomas "Trey" Smith, III (Jenci) of Stringer, MS, Courtney Spooner (Hershell) of Ponce and Jenia Mercer (Antonio) of Waynesboro, MS; his brothers, Charles "Chuck" Smith of Gautier, MS and Douglas Tyrone "Bobo" Smith of Clara, MS; his grandchildren, Isaac Thomas Spooner of Ponce, Klarice Marie "Klaire" Spooner of Ponce, Nicholas Lee Spooner (Kelsey) of Caryville, FL, Alexis Cheyenene "Lexi" Mercer of Waynesboro, MS, Kali Jade Mercer of Waynesboro, MS, Mia Grace Mercer of Waynesboro, MS and Noah Wessyn Spooner of Ponce; and his great grandchildren, Isabella Grace Spooner, Camille Faith Spooner and Allison Hope Spooner.
