Newsome, Paul Newsome, Austin Newsome, Arthur Newsome, Billy Joe Newsome, Woody Newsome, Harold Newsome, Miller Kelley, Betty Perry and Loretta Mizell; and his great grandchild Timber Sanderson.

He is survived by : his wife Annie Laura Newsome; his children, Vol Edward Newsome (Tammy) of Waynesboro, MS, Arthur Ray Newsome (Sabrina) of Waynesboro, MS, Retha Cooper (J. W.) of Richton, MS and Terena Sanderson (Kendall) of Waynesboro, MS; his nephew Wendell Scott Pardue of Millry, AL; his sister Juanese Clark of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Heather Roney (Travis), Hannah Newsome, Chancellor Newsome, Mallorie Cooper, Dr. Dallas Moseley (Taylor), Kyle Sanderson (Alexis) and Hunter Sanderson; and his sister-in-law Lula Beasley.
