He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jenner McInnis and Lillie Mae Tarbutton McInnis; his wife Dorothy Ann McInnis; and his brothers, Alton McInnis, W. J. "Mac" McInnis, Wayne McInnis and Rev. Glenn Edward McInnis.
He is survived by: his children, Elise Ann McInnis and Charles Michael McInnis (Shery Lynn); his grandchildren, Tori Lynn Hindman and Michael Carter McInnis; and his sisters, Bernice Dodd and Claudell Layton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Zion Hill Baptist Church (8081 Martinsville Rd, Wesson, MS 39191). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
