She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Dean and Wilda Ann Smith Buckaliew; and her daughter Melissa Ann King. She is survived by: her husband David Lester King; her children, Kris King (Georgia) and Lacie Ebarb; her sisters, Jo Ann Cagle (Don) and Frances Townsend; and her grandchildren, Brandon Ebarb, Brett King, Tyler King, Bennett Ebarb, Slayde Costilow, Noah Jergins and Kaden King.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions or donations be made to Strong Hope Baptist Church for "Wreaths Across America.".
