She was predeceased by: her mother Dona Lowry Reeves; her husband Thomas S. Smith; and her siblings, Newton Reeves, Martha Smeltzer, Julie B. Reed and Bonnie Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Juan Smith (Rachel) and Cynthia Post (Glen); and her grandchildren, Brad Post (Ashley), Luke Post (Olivia), Matt Post (Lisa), Brock Smith Zac (D'Lanie) and Macy Grace Smith. She is also survived by her 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the New Salem Church of Christ (1066 Jackson Liberty Dr NW, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
