He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy M. Nation, and Helen King Nation, Jr.; and his wife Florence Nation. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Cynthia Hawkins of West Point, MS; his grandson Jordan Hawkins (Macy) of West Point, MS; and his nieces, Mary Ellen Scott and Anna Beers.
