Danny Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2025, at the age of 75, Danny Smith of West Point, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Danny has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlo Dillard and Sarah Elizabeth Reed Smith. He is survived by: his wife Evie Lucas Smith of West Point, MS; his children, Lindsey Parker Robertson (Taylor) of Meridian, MS and Floyd Welch Parker, III of Jackson, MS; his brother Phil Reed Smith of West Point, MS; and his grandchildren, William Walker Robertson, Parker Ann Robertson and Sawyer Thomas Robertson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Riverside Chapel Baptist Church (9359 East, Old Hwy 50, West Point, MS 39773). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
