Doris Shaffer Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 5, 2025, at the age of 82, Doris Shaffer (West Point, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Doris may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Criddle and Cassie Ware Criddle; and her siblings, Maggie Ellis, Frances Garnett and Jimmy Criddle.
She is survived by: her sons, Kim Shaffer of Sturgis and Randy Shaffer (Nita) of West Point; and her sister Peggy Starnes of West Point.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
