It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fox Haas (West Point, Mississippi), who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Shurley Sugg (Bill), Toxey Haas (Diane) and Nina Davidson (Page); and his grandchildren, Sara Frances Haas Stubbs (Vandy), Daniel Haas (Caroline), Neill Haas (Hillary), Bill Sugg (Elvita), Gregory Sugg (Jessi), Anne Peyton Sugg, Jessie Davidson Virgin (Kevin), Ellie Davidson Stevens (John Willis) and Jack Davidson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In memory of Fox Haas, donations may be made to the Dr. Ned Miller Fox Haas Rural Medicine Fund - a grant program intended to foster long term physician/patient relationships by providing support to the practice of rural primary care medicine.
