He is survived by: his wife Susan Richardson Portera; his children, Stephanie Portera, Brian Charles Portera (Jennifer) and Cynthia Portera Lyon (Gil); his grandchildren, Judson Bristow (Chloe), Julia Ford (Dalton), Griffin Bristow, Marguerite Portera, Olivia Portera, Joseph Portera and Cooper Lyon; his brothers, William "Bill" Portera (Becky) and Phillip Portera (Cooper); his nieces, Lori DeGeus (Tim) and Sarah Hampton Cambas (Bryce); and his nephew Will Portera (Catherine).
