He was predeceased by : his father Leonard F. Tate; and his daughter Brenda Collins. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Tate of West Point; his son Johnathan Wayne Tate (Wendy) of Columbus; his siblings, Johnny Tate (Judy) of Pheba and Sue Boeke (Ray) of West Point; and his grandchildren, Brittany McKee (Chris), Kacie Finch (Jerrod), Cody Collins (Morgan), Victoria Suber, Dalton Tate and Kylie Tate. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
