Maggie Ellis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maggie Ellis (West Point, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Maggie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Lee Criddle and Cassie Ware Criddle; and her husband Robert L. Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Ricky Ellis of West Point, Keith Ellis of Cedar Bluff, Bobbie Nash of West Point, Gwen Kisner of West Point and Diane McGarity of West Point; and her sisters, Francis Garnett, Peggy Starns and Doris Shaffer. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
