It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Sue Melcher of West Point, Mississippi, born in Starkville, Mississippi, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Robert Earl; her husband Freddy O'Neal Melcher; her son Paul Stidham; her stepson Mike Melcher; and her siblings, Margaret Franklin, Earl Ray Hemphill and Wayne Hemphill.

She is survived by : her sons, Robert Stidham, John Stidham and Freddy E. Melcher (Lee); her stepson James Melcher (Donna); and her niece Raylene Pate (Adam).
