She was predeceased by : her parents, William Travis and Florence Mixon Stone; her husband Tommie Christopher Nation; her daughter Dorothy Walters; her granddaughter Charity Walters; her stepgrandson David Nation; her stepsons, Danny, Jimmy and Ricky Nation; and her siblings, Delma Nation, Geneva Spruill, Cora Thompson, Lura Stone, W. T., Bob and Tillman Stone.

She is survived by : her granddaughter Chastity Cherubin (Wendell) of Columbia, SC; her great grandchild Ainsley Cherubin of Charleston, SC; her grandson C. W. Walters (Mary Hodges) of Aberdeen; her stepgrandchildren, Vicky Bennett of Smithville, Sherry Barnes (Ray) of Baldwin, Rielly Byrd (Josh) of Potts Camp, Kristy Enman of Houston, Kim Perry of Rock Mills, AL, Josh Collins (Heather) of Senatobia and Logan Nation of Ashland; and her stepdaughter Kay Wright (Numerous) of Oklahoma.
