He was predeceased by: his parents, John Smith Vickers and Thelma Lindsey Vickers; and his brother-in-law Billy Jack Denson. He is survived by: his wife Dr. Janet Nolan Vickers of West Point; his sons, Ronald Keith Vickers (Lisa) of Sturgis and William Sweatt (Haley) of Meridian; his sisters, Joan Vaughan (Charles) of Starkville and Martha Denson of Sturgis; his siblings-in-law, Ron Nolan, Pat Nolan, Mike Nolan, Tim Nolan, Dennis Nolan, Brian Nolan, Judith Montry and Christine Weiss; and his grandchildren, Claire Vickers and McKenzie Sweat. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins.
