With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patsy Pettit of West Point, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Patsy Pettit to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Maude Edna Breland Merideth; her husband Gordon "Smokey" Pettit; and her son-in-law Alan Andrews. She is survived by: her children, Syndy Andrews and David Pettit (Lisa) of West Point; her grandchildren, Merideth Doss (Tim) of West Point, Jim Andrews (Kristen) of West Point, Anna Hike (Justin) of West Point, John Gordon Pettit of West Point and Madalynn Ray (Skyler) of West Point; her great grandchildren, Dylan Doss (Red Steichen-Doss) of West Point, Phillip Andrews of West Point, Olivia Andrews of West Point and Kayden Doss of West Point; and her siblings-in-law, Luden Vaughn of Woodland and James "Boots" Pettit of Houston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calvert Funeral Home (27600 E Main St, West Point, MS 39773). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
