He was predeceased by : his parents, James Levin and Mattie Watkins; his wife Dorothy Ellis; and his grandson Joshua Lee Watkins. He is survived by : his sons, Cliff Watkins (Janet) of West Point and Eric Watkins of Tupelo; his grandsons, Jared Levin Watkins of West Point, Andrew Thomas "Drew" Watkins (Meredith) of Tupelo and Cayson Eric Watkins of Tupelo; and his great grandchildren, Samuel Hudson Watkins of Tupelo and Andrew Hayes Watkins of Tupelo.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvert Funeral Home (27600 E Main St, West Point, MS 39773). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
