It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Webster Woodward of Whitfield, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Morris and Vera Royals Woodward; and his sister Helen Grey Kruse. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Woodward Crunk (Chris) and Stephen Daniel Woodward (Tracy); his grandchildren, Matthew Crunk (Katie), Micah Crunk (Lindsay), Brianna Woodward, Brynn Woodward and Milton Carpenter (Hanna); and his great grandchildren, Ellington Woodward Crunk, Hilton Reade Crunk, Kaia Lynn Crunk, River Wayne Crunk and Oakley Ray Carpenter. He is also survived by his loving family, including his wife of 69 years.
