He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Kopp and William Kopp. He is survived by: his wife Deb; his siblings, Patricia Lenheer, Janet, David and Jimmy; his niece Angela Smith; his nephew Craig Smith; and his great-nephew Teddy.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Flint Creek Lodge Hall (1216 Parkway Dr, Wiggins, MS 39577).
He will be remembered not only for his contributions to his nation and community but also for the kindness and generosity that defined his character.
