He was predeceased by : his wife Betty Holland Parsons; his son Thomas Eddy Parsons; his grandson Cameron Tucker Parsons; his parents, Marion Benjamin and Minnie Lee Lambert Parsons; his siblings, Harley Parsons (Sunya), Merle Parsons (Selma), Kathleen Rinks (Robert), Curtis Parsons, Travis Parsons (Marguerite), Moselle Parsons, Francine Martin (Burney), Darris Ray Parsons (Reba), Bennie Lee Prehoda (Robert), Christine Puckett (Robert), Louise Dye (Louis) and Helen Bethune; and his extended family Helen Lee of Wiggins.

He is survived by : his children, Dana Parsons (Sandra) of Wiggins and Tadd Parsons (Aleta) of Perkinston; his grandchildren, Whitney Lauren Parsons, Ethan Parsons, Caroline Parsons and Piper Olive Parsons; his great grandchild Carter Brady Parsons; his extended family Bruce Lee; and also, Mary Lee of Wiggins, Mississippi. and Nancy Lee of Wiggins, Mississippi..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wiggins (219 2nd St N, Wiggins, MS 39577). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at the Woodlawn Cemetery North.
