It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wilson James Sr. of Wiggins, Mississippi, who passed away on June 26, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Artie Ray and Leila James (Netto); and his siblings, Grady, Troy, Howard and Marie James.

He is survived by : his wife Kathy James (Mickey) of Wiggins; his children, Johnny James Jr. (Patti) of Picayune, Kelli Sowles of Picayune, Robbie James (Cathy) of Gulfport and Aaron James (Christina) of Gulfport; his grandchildren, Hali Martino (Tim) of Saucier, Steven Sowles of Gulfport, Lexi James of Ocean Springs, Colsten Cossey of Gulfport, Payslie James of Gulfport and Carter James of Gulfport; his great grandchildren, Ava Seymour, Hunter Seymour, Graysen Martino, Kennedi Martino and Kamden Grimes; and his daughter-in-law Janene King of Gulfport. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
