It is with sadness that the passing of Linda Jean Barnes of Wiggins, Mississippi is shared. Linda, born on May 3, 1940, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mertz Bond and Lois Bond; her siblings, Ervin Don Bond and Merle Dean Bond; her daughter Melanie Fairley; and her great grandchild Brantley James Barnes.

She is survived by: her son Jim Barnes (Bessie); her grandchildren, Dalton Barnes (Sable), Landon Barnes (Allie), Quinton Barnes, Whitney Fairley, Sidney Fairley and Maisye Fairley; and her great grandchildren, Beau Thomas Barnes and Malea Howerton.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Service (1115 W College Ave, Wiggins, MS 39577). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
