She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Warden and Beatrice Warden (Flurry). She is survived by: her children, Shawn O'Steen (Angelica) of Torre de and Andrea Young (Rodney) of Milton, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Abigail Voda, Emily O'Steen, Rachel Young and Beniah O'Steen; and her siblings, Tommy Warden (Kate) of Wiggins, Carol Manning (Paul) of Wiggins, Anita Heuss (Gil) of Wiggins and Edward Warden of Wiggins. She is also survived by nieces and nephews along with numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Service - Wiggins (1115 W College Ave, Wiggins, MS 39577). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Stone County Arts Council, honoring Nettie's lifelong passion for the arts and her community.
