She was predeceased by: her father John Russell Dennis, Sr.; her brothers, Rodriquez Dennis and Marcus Jordan; her grandmother Allien White; and her son-in-law Thomas Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Johnny Lee Shaw; her children, Kayla Dennis, Aasha Dennis, JaZoin Dennis, Don Howze and Makinah Dennis; her grandchildren, Brayden McCray, Mar'kiyah McGee, D'Landin Johnson and Ai'kyla Hartzog; her mother Marilyn Dennis; her siblings, Jennifer Dennis, Lalinda Dennis, John Russell Dennis, Jr., Chaviss Jones, Joseph Land, Broderick Jones, Carlos Jordan and Monica Wash; and her nieces and nephews, Timira Dennis, Kyrian Dennis, Deriquez Dennis, Tioajah Dennis, Waltez Graham and Lucinda Graham (LucyPearl).
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (552 S Magnolia Dr, Wiggins, MS 39577). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Bond Cemetery.
