Shannon leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Shannon’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Shannon will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Joann Taylor; his parents, Shannon Taylor and Mary Bond Taylor; and his siblings, Lennis Ray Taylor and Nettie Faye Bond.
He is survived by: his nephew Lennis Earl Taylor (Pam) of Wiggins; his great-nieces, Kalie Fletcher (Stephen), Kara Owen (Peyton), Kimberly Albertson (Blaine) and Darah Webb (Andrew); and his sister-in-law Lois Fore. He is also survived by seven great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (962 MS-29, Wiggins, MS 39577). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
