With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlene Jacks Brister of Winona, Mississippi, who passed away on December 4, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Will Tom and Iris Patridge Jacks; her husband Lloyd Guy Brister; her son Charles Thomas "Chuck" Brister; and her siblings, Vivian Haile, Charline Coleman and William Patridge "Pat" Jacks.

She is survived by: her children, Judy Brister Smith (Jim) of Eupora, Billy Guy Brister (Nancy) of Eupora and Bobby Brister (Joyce) of West Point; and her sisters, Joyce Jenkins of Carrollton, GA and Corrine Johnson of Morton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
