He was predeceased by: his parents, Lozelle Armstrong and Charlie Fred Armstrong Sr.; and his brother Gary Nelson Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Martha McClurg Armstrong of Wylie, TX; his children, Kim Freeman (Mike), Kris Evans (Tim) and Matthew Armstrong; his brother Robert Armstrong (Violet); and his grandchildren, Blake Armstrong, Justin Taylor (Michelle), Ashleigh Marshall (TJ), Cody Crist and Alyx Freeman. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
