She was predeceased by: her parents, William Monroe "Red" and Alma Ree Nash Baskin; her husband Richard Allen Weed, Sr.; and her siblings, Rosa Nell Huggins and Sonny Baskin.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Rebecca Weed of Vidalia, LA, Richard Allen Weed Jr. (Bootsie) of Winona and William Albert Weed (Joyce) of Saltillo; her sister Jennie Edwards of Ashville, NC; her brother-in-law Burrell Huggins of Winona; and her grandchildren, Rhonda Thorn (Ray), Terri Vaughn (Perry), Al Weed (Salena), Thomasina Farrell, Valerie Murphy and Kelsey Weed. She is also survived by great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
