With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Emma Box of Winona, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Emma left this world on June 17, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Roscoe Day and Ollie Lee Elliot Day; her daughter Jennifer Ellis (John); her grandchildren, Carley Lafler (Brad), Josh Norton (Adriana), Nicholas Norton (Nicole) and Brad Ellis (Mia); and her great grandchildren, Luke, Halle, Ana, Ella, Sofia, Jackson, Kaleb, Juliet, Alex, Owen, Oliver and Nora.
She is survived by: her husband Glynn Dillard Box; her daughter Stephanie Norton; her sister Christine "Teen" Jennings; her son Glynn Jr.; and her siblings, Waitstill Day, Anna Lee Graves, Frank Day, Melba Grisham, Charlotte Edmiston and Virginia Hayes. She is also survived by her sister but her lifelong friend, as well as many nieces and nephews.
