We are sad to announce that, on May 3, 2026, at the age of 99, Jimmy Wesley Holifield of Winona, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Mayfield Holifield and John Wesley Holifield; his wives, Mary Frances Holifield (Tassie) and Beulah Holifield; and his siblings, Zella King (Tommy), Zoe Wilson (Fred), Lawrence Holifield (Dorothy), Shirley Marsalis (Luther), Odell Holifield (Bonnie) and Don Holifield (Nancy).

He is survived by: his children, Ken Holifield (Shirley) of Kilmichael, Mississippi, Diane Holifield Dukes (Joe) of Madison, Mississippi and Glenn Holifield (Becky) of Kilmichael, Mississippi.; and his grandchildren, Stephen Holifield (Stephanie), Christopher Holifield, Kimberly Burchfield (Chester), Alan Dukes (Rebecca), Mary Frances Dukes (Chaz Ayton), Wesley Holifield (Nikki), Jonathan Holifield (Kristen), David Holifield (Mary Grace) and Andrew Holifield (Brandy). He is also survived by many friends including a special friend.
