He is survived by: his wife Teresa Palmertree; his children, Ariel Smith (Malcolm) of Kilmichael, Ronnie Bevis (Brittany) of Fulton and James Bevis (Samantha) of Fentress; and his siblings, Bennie Faye Bishop, Alice Vance and Shorty Palmertree. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
