He is survived by: his wife Margaret Fondren Moore; his daughters, Laura Moore Pickens (Paul) and Allison Moore of Oxford, MS; his grandchildren, Caroline Pickens of Little Rock, AR and John Paul Pickens of Fayetteville, AR; his cousins, Hal Jennings, Joanne Barnard and Tim Corley; and his nieces, Cherry and Traci Corley.

I graduated in 1980, and I was lucky enough to see him again just before COVID. I was surprised and touched that he still remembered me, and we had such a great time reminiscing.
