With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joey Harmon of Winona, Mississippi, born in Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on June 13, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Carl Harmon and Gillie Hinton Harmon; and his close friends, Daisy, Pebbles, Abby and Murphy.
He is survived by : his wife Valeria Duke Harmon of Winona; his daughters, Lori Dawn Harmon of Springville and Valeri Jo Watts of Pontotoc; his stepdaughters, Penny Simpson of Memphis, TN, Dana Whitworth of Collierville, TN and Wendy Marable of Saltillo; his siblings, Gillie Anne Doty of Tupelo and James Howard Harmon of Pontotoc; and his close friends, Smokey, Little Girl, Lulu and Georgie. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
