With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mettie Sue Buckley Donnelly of Winona, Mississippi, who passed away on April 27, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cabe E. Buckley and Edna B. Buckley; her husband Eugene Emmett Donnelly; her grandson Matthew Donnelly Smith; her siblings, Eldridge Buckley, James Buckley, Hillard Buckley and Nancy Ashley; and her son-in-law Jack Turnipseed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Donnelly Turnipseed and Laura Donnelly Smith (Mike); her sister Peggy Bass; and her grandchildren, Nicki, Whitney, Tori Turnipseed, Michael and Mark Smith. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
