He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Edward and Lucy Lerline Scruggs Johnson; his wife Sarah Browning Johnson; and his daughter Patricia Marie Johnson Nail. He is survived by: his son Eddie Johnson (Sarah) of Olive Branch; his grandchildren, Suzanne Johnson Downs, Andy Nail, Harrison Johnson and Evelyn Johnson; his great grandchildren, Gracee Burrell, Jonathan Downs, Emma Downs, Hayden Nail and Harper Nail; and his great great grandchild Cooper Burrell. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel (113 Liberty St, Winona, MS 38967). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the Evergreen Cemetery.
