She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Weed and Julia Colman Weed; and her husband Riley E. "Gene" Jenkins. She is survived by: her children, Joanna Miller (Joe) of Carrollton, Janet Jenkins Dees (Al) of Southaven and Bruce Jenkins (Jennifer) of Houma, LA; and her grandchildren, Deanna Woods, Allen Cummings, Tricia Williamson, Kelsey Jenkins, Hunter Dees and Brooklyn Dees Harmon. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Bethlehem Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
