He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Boyd and Mary Merle Pittman of Tylertown, Mississippi.; his siblings, Mary Rayborn, Brenda Anthony and Ronald Boyd; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Boyd; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Anthony and Marlin Rayborn.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Boyd; his children, Denny Boyd, Darren Boyd, Jason Boyd (Erin Boyd) and Melissa Shumaker; his grandchildren, Jeremy Boyd, Devan Boyd, Brook Boyd (Rusty), Hunter Boyd (Michael), Tyler Barton (Kayla), Jayden Shumaker (Luke), Robert Shumaker, Abby Boyd, Annaston Shumaker, Braxton Bourn and Sydne Johnson; his great grandchildren, Kain Lee Anthony Boyd, Brinley Spence, Baylen Spence and Ophelia Barton; and his sisters-in-law, Jenette Blackwell and Ann Boyd.
