She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Russell Green and Charlie Green; her husband Robert Lee Hunter, Sr.; her daughter Doretha Roby; her siblings, Sidney Green, Henry Green and Ruth Gibbs; and her grandchildren, Otis, Curtis, Jr. and Shantell D. McCray.

She is survived by: her children, Pearlina Turner and Robert Lee Hunter (Vickie) of Woodville, Mississippi; her grandchildren, Angelia Veals of Woodville, Mississippi, Thelma Burrell (Kevin) of LaPlace, Louisiana, Iesha Hunter of Centreville, Mississippi, Damion Hunter (Shireka) of Clinton, Louisiana, Jarrick Hunter, Terrance Roby of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Robert Hunter III of Kansas City, Kansas; and her friend Rondie Allen of Liberty, Mississippi. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; five nephews; five nieces.
