She was predeceased by: her parents, George Pelton and Forestine Pelton; and her brothers, Merrill and Bill Pelton. She is survived by: her friend Mary Donohoe; her husband Richard Merrill Ostrum; her children, Venessa Monson (Ken) and Terrill Ostrum; her grandchildren, Brande Young (Clayton), Dustin Ostrum (Nikki) and Jenessa Sawyer (Adam); her great grandchildren, Caitlin Fowler (Tyler), Keara Young, Tysen Young, Preston, Stetson Ostrum, Augustus and Truett Sawyer; and her sister Sara Kerr (Steve). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anipro Event Center (2878 MT-78, Absarokee, MT 59001).
