He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Thomson (Scottie) and Ann Thomson (Laslovich); his grandfather Yonko (Jack); and his siblings, Gene Thomson (Shaker), Mary Matosich and Annabelle Sladich.
He is survived by: his child Suz; his wife Laura Ward; his children, Jim (Tricia) of Redmond, WA, Bob (Trina) of Kalispell, Pat (Amy) of Butte and Susanne Dauenhauer (Mark) of Butte; his grandchildren, Aubree Hopper (John), Cierra Metcalf (Marshall), Marki Bouffiou (Jesse), Lexi Dauenhauer (Alex Cadieux), Ryan Thomson (Hannah Duerst), Patrick Thomson, Jack Thomson, Kaylee Buswell (Ryan), Addie Thomson and Isla Thomson; and his great grandchildren, Broadus Buswell, Ryka Buswell, Peyton Hopper and Parker Hopper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (217 W Pennsylvania St, Anaconda, MT 59711). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
