He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wayne O. Lubbes and Janet K. Lubbes; his wife Sherrie Lubbes (Ibach); his son Nathan Lubbes; his daughter-in-law Alicia Lubbes; his siblings, Wes Lubbes, Leigh Phelps and George Lubbes; and his grandchildren, Payton Bownes and Lucifer.
Wayne coached the little league baseball team for his son Nathan when he was little, and he participated in many charity events and even hosted quite a few at the Paradise Bar.
