He was predeceased by: his parents, William Varner and Annetta Varner (Grow); his stepfather William Beck; his siblings, Lavonne Thielen (Ambrose), Leota Varner, Herb and Jim Varner; his son Clifton Jacob Varner; and his granddaughter Morgan Wyrick.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Varner; his children, Debbie Wyrick (Bill) and Mel Varner; his grandchild Kalli Madsen (Dallen); his children, Duncan Wyrick, Hailee Varner and Ashlynn Varner; his great grandchildren, Mallorie and Brooks Madsen; and his sister-in-law Alvina Varner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stevenson Funeral Home (207 2nd St W, Baker, MT 59313). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
