He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mitzel; his daughters, Melissa and Tanya Mitzel; his stepson Michael Foos; his grandchildren, Trevor, Alex, Ciena, Jesse, Nolan and Skailur; and his siblings, Burt Mitzel, Gerry Ford and Joyce Christenson. He is also survived by his four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
