He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Thurston (Marisa), Jeremy Thurston (Daysha) and Joel Thurston (Katelyn); his grandchildren, Kaelan Grant, Paige McKaea and Elliot Kohl Thurston; his stepfather Reino Bergquist of Andover, Vermont; and his siblings, Everett Thurston of Roxbury, Vermont, Glenna Thurston of Springfield, Vermont, Laurie O'Connor (Ken) of Chester, Vermont and Nicole Kann (Josh) of Andover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (1367 Thomas Dr, Bozeman, MT 59718).
