With sadness, we share the passing of Kenneth John Turnquist of Belgrade, Montana. Kenneth, born on September 20, 1953, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Logan Turnquist and Harold Turnquist; his in-laws, Joe and Vesta Wichman; his siblings-in-law, Joe Wichman, Ron Alles, John Straight, Marilyn Merchen, Peg Straight and Nancy Wichman; his nephew Rodney Wichman; his niece Julie Merchen; and his grandsons, Liam Turnquist-Linn and Zachary Turnquist-Linn.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Wichman; his daughters, Jennifer Turnquist-Linn (Bill Linn), Ashley Turnquist and Michela Turnquist (Bob Everhart); his grandchildren, Gabriel, Lily, Logan, Noah, Violet, Xander, Jameson, Hazel, Andrew, Estela, Sophia and Teddy; his son-in-law Efrain Urrutia; his stepgrandchildren, Della, Darby, Delaney and Denton; his siblings, Bill Turnquist (Val), Bob Turnquist (Linda) and Pam Birkeland (Gary Gustafson); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Birkeland, John Wichman (Sharon), Gary Wichman (Colleen), Keith Wichman (Rana), Herb Wichman, David Wichman (Janet), Terry Wichman, Jackie Alles, Nancy Taylor (Ted), Vicki Damson (Chuck), Nina Rapkoch (Joe) and Rita Wichman Seavy (Glen). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (609 N Quaw Blvd, Belgrade, MT 59714). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (220 W Main St, Bozeman, MT 59715).
