He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Ludeman and Hazel Gertrude Ludeman; his siblings, Robert (Nona), Larry and Lorraine Surdal (Lars); his in-laws, Bill and Angela Swanson; his brother-in-law Dee Boyce; and his niece Marsha Surdal.
He is survived by: his wife Karin Swanson; his daughters, Kathy Cheney (Don) and Kristi Watkins (Billy); his grandchildren, Samantha Hill (Caleb), Logan Cheney, Quinton Nygard (Ro) and Brooke Nygard (Ken); his great grandchild Owen Hill; his sisters-in-law, Martha Boyce and Marlene'Gore; and his cousin Arthur Ward (Winnie).
