He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Whitaker and Dortha Whitaker; and his siblings, Marva, Davonna Whitaker and Roni Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Christie Whitaker; his children, Robert Whitaker and April; and his siblings, Roberta Kunz and Charles. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
