She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Hegdal and Anna Hegdal; her spouse Telmar Terland; her daughter-in-law Wyoma; and her siblings, Agnes Skaarland, Margit Becken, Olga Voldberg, Borghild Terland, Arnold Hegdal, Elmer Hegdal and George Hegdal.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Bonnie Hegdal; and her sibling's children, Terry Terland (Joan), Sheryl Richert (Steve) and Rusty Terland (Barb). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great – grandchildren.

Memorials in Alma's name may be made to the Big Timber Volunteer Fire Department or charity of one's choice.
