With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leonard Melvin Walla of Big Timber, Montana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 17, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bjarne C. Walla and Myrtle A. Walla (Lindsley); and his brother Lynn Dee. He is survived by: his wife Karole; his granddaughter Rylie; his sons, Travis Walla of Billings, MT and Kevin Walla of Eloy, AZ; the mother of his children Pamela Steinhauser Walla of Eureka, CA; his brother Larry Walla (Sue) of Glendive; and his cousins, Frances Lindsley Olson (Kelly) of Watford City, ND, Ina Mae Patterson (Jim) of Loogootee, IN, Gene Sattler (Pepper) of Minot, ND, Jim Sattler, JoAnne Bogar of Glendive and Helen Myrstol (Daniel) of Big Timber.
Memorials can be made to Big Timber Lutheran Church or the Hospitality House Senior Center in Big Timber.
